Backlash

Does anyone else get the feeling that Brokeback Mountain, just like Sideways last year, is going to face a rather large backlash? Like it gets all the praise and critic's awards since it's a great movie in a really lackluster year, but this is all before most of the nation has seen it, and then a lot of people see it and get pissed off, since it's not the sort of movie that most of the nation enjoys? Perhaps I am overestimating how many people will see Brokeback. It is about gay dudes, after all.
