Enough's enough
Okay, friends from high school, time to knock it off. No more announcing engagements, no more pregnancies, no more of this "settling down into an adult life" stuff. Your example is even beginning to affect those of us who live the hedonistic swinger lifestyle here in LA.

At least your married friends aren't telling you to get pregnant now so your kids can be friends. Well..not like they'd tell you to get pregnant...but still. That's what mine do.
Fortunately all my engaged/married/pregnant frieds all live far away, so their influence is weaker. But their numbers are growing! It's only a matter of time before one of my friends here in LA caves in and ties the knot.
