Holiday
While I was on lunch I couldn't help but notice that the mall was full of people. At first I was like "Where did all these people come from?" Then I remembered that today is a holiday for most of the nation. Yet I'm stuck here at work while everyone else gets to enjoy a nice three-day weekend. Grrr.
So let it be known that if you have the day off today I DO NOT LIKE YOU and we are NO LONGER FRIENDS.

I'm glad someone must share my suffering! Time to go home!
when i drove to work on monday, it only took me about 6 minutes. felt like i was in the twilight zone. i walked into the office and looked at our office manager, and asked her "what's going on today" and she looks at my like i'm insane. then she says "holiday". and then I got really disappointed.
yup. so i guess my point is that i felt like you did. or something. ;-)
